Meet our Venue Manager

Get to know Inverell Aquatic Centre’s venue manager, Victoria Plain. Victoria comes from a 20-year career as a primary school teacher in Inverell. During her time as a teacher, Victoria also applied herself as a sports coordinator and Zone secretary.

Victoria is a country girl and a devoted mum of three. Soon, she’ll be tackling the exciting challenge of teaching their eldest daughter to drive! She loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s walking with her loving fiancé, Anthony—sometimes joined by their two dogs—or working alongside him to landscape their property. With their wedding on the horizon, we send them our best wishes for both the big day and the journey ahead!

When asked what she looks forward to most at Inverell Aquatic Centre, Victoria said:

“Because of my connections with schools, I can’t wait to see students swimming at Inverell Aquatic Centre. We haven’t had a pool in so long, I know our facilities will be integral to teaching students lifelong swimming and water safety skills. Council have done an amazing job with our multi-million dollar aquatic centre and I can’t wait to see the Inverell community get involved in our facilities and programs.”
